Update: to celebrate developers being able to set their own prices, Eets is participating in BecauseWeMay – from May 24 to June 1, the original Eets game is on sale for $2.99 (original price $9.99). Please join us in supporting independent developers and checking out the other games on sale during this period.
This here is the original version of Eets that got us started in 2005. When you buy it from us direct, you get the game DRM free on PC and Mac, as well as a Steam Play key to play them on Steam.
Google graciously allowed us to demo a very early build of Eets Munchies on their booth on Thursday. Reception was awesome even though the build was somewhat buggy and the difficulty ramp was insane.
This is me eating their headphones as it was 2pm and I had yet to eat anything that day.
YES! Eets Munchies is in progress, and I couldn’t be more excited! Back in 2005, a group of kids in their basement created a little game in their spare time, and the result was Eets: Hunger. It’s emotional. I’m so happy to be working on a new Eets title — words can’t even express it. The art is just breathtaking, with animation by award-winning animator Aaron Bouthillier, level design and production by Jake Birkett, and programming by Infested Planet creator Alex Vostrov, among other amazing contributors, this game is just shining.
