Modding... I am interested!

Though, you would have to be careful you don't make a puzzle with all your own items, and then someone else who doesn't have your items might play it, and crash their game...

Hey Chris -- yes, I completely agree that we need instructions on how to mod Eets. We're actually looking into how we're going to distribute mods on our website, to avoid things like messing up the install of Eets and such.

We also need to distribute a couple tools that really help in the making of mods.

Thanks for the interest! I'm psyched that people want to try creating their own items and such :)

You need to give instructions for people to edit all the asset images, not just the background/foreground images, if you want people to really mod it. Then the objects and their little animations can be made to fit with their surroundings in a full mod.
Its a contagious enough game at the moment. If you did that and had a mechanism for importing a mod with all different textures and entity animations this game would be still going strong in a couple years simply on the strength of new content created by players. If you made the documentation easy enough a five year old could probably learn how to mod the game, so why not do that and let 5 year olds mod it?

It'd be fun making own items for Eets for sure. I guess I'll try to try to figure out some stuff soon. :)
