So I turned 25 on June 18. That’s a quarter century old. It also means I’m one step closer to becoming a grown-up (but I still feel like a kid though :P )

Anyways, I could lament how I’m becoming a grown-up or whatnot, but it’s my birthday so I should really celebrate it with all of you! While there’s not enough birthday cake to go around for everyone, I’ll instead share with you my list of 25 hopes and wishes I hope will happen someday (some of which will indeed happen!) while I eat my birthday cake . . .

CheesyRamen’s wish/hope/will happen list:

  1. World Peace: Kinda cheesy (no pun intended!), but always doesn’t hurt to wish for it. :)
  2. Teleportation: It would really make travelling to and from work every day a lot easier!
  3. Eets Replays: One of the most requested features from Eets fans and even ourselves, being able to save replays of the really awesome way you passed a Puzzle and sharing it with your friends is something that you’ll be seeing very soon! ;)
  4. A Nintendo Wii: I soooo want one!
  5. A Nintendo DS Lite: While on the same subject, and even though I already have a DS, I soooo want one!
  6. Eets Marshmallows: Wouldn’t it be cool if you could buy actual Eets Marshmallows from the supermarket where if you ate one, you can instantly change emotion? I’d always be eating Happy Buds!
  7. Hints in Custom Puzzles: Another often requested feature from Eets fans. If the main game levels have hints in them, Custom Puzzles should as well. So, to promote equality amongst all, that feature will also be available for the masses!
  8. Health: There’s no point in 9 & 10 if you don’t have good health!
  9. Fame: With this, you’d maybe have an easier time getting 8 and 10.
  10. Fortune: You’re most likely 9 if you have wealth, plus you could probably buy 8 as well.
  11. Official Solutions: If you’ve played through a Custom Puzzle and passed it, you might have missed out on the sometimes awesome intended solutions some players have some up with in their Custom Puzzles. Soon you’ll be able to record and view the official solutions for all Eets Puzzles while playing Eets!
  12. Eets Merchandise: You know you want a Ninja Skillz T-shirt!
  13. Revamped Introduction Puzzles: If you’ve thought some of the Introduction Puzzles were sort of boring, then you’ll be glad to know we’re going to tweak the Introduction a little. If you’re starting out with Eets, you’ll be able to get into the action much quicker. On the other hand, if you’re already playing Eets, there’ll be more opportunities to get a few more Puzzle Trophies.
  14. Stuffed Eets Doll:

Wouldn’t a stuffed Eets doll be sooooo cute?
(Thanks to miracle monkey for sending it to us!)

  15. Cool Gadgets #1: A USB Thumb Drive like this one.
  16. Open Load Puzzle Dialog from Main Menu: Bigfoot and myself were talking about this one day and we weren’t too sure if adding this would help. However, first suggested by fishboy and followed by molkmizzlein this forum post, we now agree that’s something to look forward to in the update.
  17. World Domination: A little ambitious, but I’ll be a kind ruler, I promise!
  18. Showing More People Eets: We’ve been getting awesome reviews, but little exposure. We want to show Eets to as many people as we can, so that they can enjoy the things we’ve made.
  19. Be able to upload/rate/download Replays: If you can make awesome replays in Eets and share them with others, then why not do it at the Community website? As with Eets Puzzles, you will be able to upload, download, and rate Eets Replays on our website.
  20. Cool Gadgets #2: We have no air conditioning in our oven of a office at nighttimes, so this could help a little.
  21. An easier way to grab screenshots: If you’ve really wanted an easy way to get Eets screenshots, then fear not! While making Puzzles, Eets will create a screenshot that you can use, for example, with the Puzzles you’ve created and posted to the Community site.
  22. Happiness: Everything wouldn’t be fun without this.
  23. Sleep: Always a good thing to have. Zzzzzzzzzz . . .
  24. Sorting Custom Puzzles: After downloading all the Puzzles fans have made, we realized we may need this . . .

  25. Even better ways to let you all have more fun. One of the most satisfying things I enjoy working at Klei is knowing you’re all having fun with Eets. Every day at work, Bigfoot and I are always thinking up of neat things to add in Eets or the Community Website to make your experience with us that much better! I really hope I’m doing such things with everyone.

Looking at that list, some wishes will be a little harder to accomplish (e.g. #17) than others, but if you look at the wishes highlighted in red, you’ll be glad to know that these features will be included in a free update to Eets! We’ve been working super-hard day and night so that you can all enjoy thsee things you’ve asked for.

I’ve had a fun birthday so far, but it should get more fun pretty soon! ;)

What do you think about my ‘wish’ list? Feel free to share your thoughts!

O yeah, the selling Eets marshmallows would be a great idea. I can only imagine the indigestion the explod-a-mallow would cause… :-p
