As some of you may be aware, Eets is now offered on several different sites. One of them, Caravel Games, offers a quirky and deviously addictive little game called DROD.

DROD, the odd and addictive strategy game

In DROD, you play the odd looking (okay, that guy is ugly) hero Beethro, who charges into dungeons to clean them of beasts. The game is a turn-based strategy game, where every move you make allows the pests in the dungeon to move one square. Each enemy type has a very specific behaviour; add in switches, doors and other environmental items, and quickly the levels become a very involving mental exercise. They also have a massive repository of user created levels, tons of expansion packs, and a community that’s equally impressive.

Go ahead. Try the game. But don’t forget to come back! ;)

So why am I talking about DROD? Because to spark some interest in Eets in the DROD community, we created a dozen Eets puzzles especially for that crowd, and promised to wait before releasing it on eetsgame.com. That time has past, and we’re rolling out the puzzles to you! But instead of flooding the new puzzles list, we’re going to release one every Monday, Wednesday and Friday for the next 4 weeks.

So, here’s the first one to wet your appetite: Creative Explosives

I can’t wait to see everyone’s crazy replays ;)

Thanks!
-Jamie AKA “BigFoot”.

  1. Yes, DROD. The greatest game in existance (sorry guys. I love Eets, but I guess I’m a bit of a traitor in this :( )For this game there are over 8000 rooms, and one single room can be fiendishly clever. All the holds, as the levels is called, is raited by users, and the comunity is filled with very inteligent people (due to the nature of the game). If someone likes logical puzzles and fantasy he/she is almost guranteed to like DROD (although yoy don’t have to like fantasy to like DROD).

  2. what David?
    “bit of a traitor” ?
1st of all, criticism is welcome and neccesary for the development of the game. 2nd of all… you praise the game… so i am very confused. Maybe english is not your first choice of language?

PS: i love it… my life has room for this so i must be ?

  3. I think what David means is that he calls DROD the greatest game of all time, and not Eets, which is why he jokingly says he’s a traitor ;)
